Victoria Burgess is an English artist currently based in Debden, near Saffron Walden, who has lived and studied in South Africa where she received formal tuition in drawing, painting, history of art, ceramics and sculpture at The National School of Arts. These two contrasting countries influence her work on many levels.

Victoria describes herself as 'enthusiastic, passionate and energetic' in her approach to art and design. Inspired by nature’s beauty, structure, colour and life, she creates artwork to uplift mood and promote a positive outlook. Her knowledge of Colour Therapy enables her to produce pieces that will enhance the atmosphere of any room and therefore affect the people who use that space.

Influences from life experience include the wild landscapes, bright light and vivid colours
evident in Africa and since returning to England, the deep greens of the lush countryside and the discreet natural world that inhabit it.
